True safety goes beyond defense; it’s about awareness, emotional regulation, and readiness. Marius Gravely
Mr. Gravely is a certified, experienced firearms safety instructor and former law enforcement officer dedicated to helping individuals and organizations build confidence through preparedness. A Retired U.S. Army Military Police Officer, his service includes deployments to Korea, Afghanistan, and Iraq, as well as tenure with M.A.R.T.A. Police Department. He is a USCCA Certified Instructor specializing in firearm safety, marksmanship, CQC (Close Quarters Combat), Personal Security, concealed carry, home defense, and de-escalation. His teaching philosophy is rooted in patience, clarity, and empowerment.

Jacquese Gravely
Mrs. Gravely brings over 20 years of HR and Talent Acquisition leadership, specializing in Global Company Culture, Leadership Development, and Emotional Intelligence. A Certified Life and Executive Coach, Certified Master Trainer, and Certified Inclusion Leader, she is also a trained safety expert and experienced speaker and presenter known for her ability to connect with diverse audiences through clarity, confidence, and compassion.
Her Global HR experience and commitment to personal and organizational growth allow her to bridge people, communication, and performance — strengthening safety education, executive coaching, and strategic planning.
Together, the Gravelys founded The Standard, a training company offering personal, workplace, and faith-based safety programs designed to make safety a standard for all.
